Most WordPress plugins, if not all, have options (also known as settings) that are stored in the blog’s MySQL database, ready to be called upon when needed. In this tutorial we will explore three different PHP methods to store options.
HLogoZ-WP 1.1.1 Released
HLogoZ-WP 1.1.1 has been released today with a few small feature enhancements and design changes. Also, a logo was added along with some color changes to match the logo. Drop down boxes were added next to the height and width options for px or em choice. Drop down box was also added next to class/id to choose id or class. If you find any bugs please post them via our feedback forum. The tutorial about “editing the default WordPress template”, should be available in the beginning of April.
HLogoZ-WP 1.1.0 Released
In short, HLogoZ-WP 1.1.0 has been released today. The new custom holiday feature is now available, and there may still be some bugs with it, but hopefully not. If you find any bugs please post them via our feedback forum. Currently there is a long list of other small enhancements to be made to H-LogoZ. The top priority on my list is posting a tutorial about editing the default WordPress template, this should be available in a week or two.
S-ButtonZ will surely be getting a huge update in the next few weeks. The update will regard manual button placement, multi-language support (localization), and quite possibly some other small features and enhancements. If you have any feature suggestions, new buttons you would like to see, or anything at all, feel free to head over to the RSWR feedback forum and post about it.
Recent Updates and News
In the past week we’ve had several updates to our WordPress plugins and website projects. HLogoZ-WP is expected to have custom dates available soon. S-ButtonZ should be getting the long awaited manual placement feature. I have been receiving a bit more feedback on the projects lately. You are always free to submit feedback about any of our projects with feature requests, bug reports, or anything else on your mind.
Things to Come…
The HLogoZ-Advanced project is getting kicked aside for now due to low interest from the community and time constraints on my part. Plans have been made to rewrite the phpheckZ project’s code, and I will get started on that very soon. Meanwhile I will do my best to implement any and all feature requests for our current WordPress Plugins.
I have released three new releases regarding three of the remaining social media plugins. These are small releases to clean up the admin UI, so that they are compatible with WordPress 2.7
In the last update I mentioned that I plan to put all our social media plugins into one plugin. This new plugin should be made available sometime at the end of February or March. Ideas for a plugin name and suggestions towards the plugin is appreciated, as it is still unnamed.
HLogoZ for WordPress should also be launched around the same time.
